I, we, you, they + base verb
I do my homework every day.
We play football every Friday.
You always come late to school.

He, she, it + verb+s
He does his homework every day.
She cooks breakfast at 7 o’clock in the morning.
It runs very fast.
Plural noun + base verb
The students take the bus to school every day.
My parents drink coffee every morning.
Singular noun ---》verb + s
My cat sleeps on my bed everyday.
Non count---》 verb + s=
Snow falls from the sky in winter.
My hair grows fast.
Spelling rules in adding (s) to the verb
1) If the verb ends with –s, -ss, -sh, -ch, -o or –x, it gets –es ending in 3rd person singular.
e.g. : Focuses, wishes, mixes, matches, watches, misses, goes, does
2) Y changes into –i in the end of the verbs if there is a consonant before it.
e.g.: try tries
