If you are confused between using this method or using " shift edge" orcolors" inside select & mask, know that all of them are specific to different situations. This technique is important when you want to selectively remove halos fast only from certain areas and not the whole image. It can also be used on the entire image if it lacks hair or fur.     @NonSequitur4043 years ago Interesting technique. I have always found it quite easy to just use the defringe feature. This works with a cutout image not with a layer mask. So you will need to apply the layer mask to the layer before applying defringe. ...Expand 2
